- Sierra Safari Zoo
One of the most personalized zoo's I have ever seen. The whole zoo is one big family, and all the smaller (animal) families are quite close. It is fascinating to watch the elder animals interact with their own children and extended family. A very unqiue wildlife experience!
Definitely put this on your Las Vegas itinerary.
The Sierra Safari are located just north of Reno at the Red Rock exit off 395. Call if you have questions, need clarification to the directions, or want to make sure that they are open if the weather is bad.
Sierra Safari Zoo hours are 10AM to 5PM, 7 days a week barring bad weather.
